My husband and I had a coupon and decided to try out the Whyte Avenue location. The food was excellent - flavorful and full of ginger! We were impressed except for when we presented our coupon. We had a coupon for $10 off a meal over $50. The waiter said it was not valid on weekends. However, it said nothing on the coupon about weekdays only. In fact, there was similar type of coupon in a display within the restaurant and this too said nothing about weekdays only. The stipulations on both coupons only consisted of "one card per table" and "only on food with a $50 value." My husband pointed this out and the gentleman said, "okay, only this time." But after we left we noticed on our bill that in fact they didn't take off the discount.

So overall, despite the great food, we found it unfortunate the restaurant does not honor coupons that they continue to circulate - even for ones that are found within the restaurant itself. We found it a manipulative way to bring in customers and because of that we will not return.
