Who would have thought that this restaurant on Fort Road would have such great things to offer. The place was very nice inside. We were greeted by friendly staff. The food selection was outstanding. Beautiful fresh salad bar. Above average Chinese food. Nice, tender roast beef. The best fried chicken that I have ever had!!

Had our buddy\'s retirement lunch here. There was 16 of us and they were absolutely awesome. The server was great, very helpful and he was always clearing our dishes out of our way. The food was good, and the roast beef was excellent. The restuarant was very neat and tidy. I would definely recommend this place for lunch. Only $13.99 and you have alot of choices.

We recently went to this restaurant for a family dinner party and we were impressed. This is the second big occasion we were there. Friendly, excellent service. A very big thank you to the staff who made this such a great birthday. Awesome food.

You should try this gem of a restaurant! The service is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. The food can\'t be beat! The selection goes on forever! Best Chinese food I have had in a while, but there is much more than that.... Awesome prime rib, yummy shrimp, great salad bar and too many desserts ha ha.

My wife and I come to Edmonton very often, This was our first time here. We liked it, We've been to better, but all in all it wasn't that bad. and are sure to return one day, maybe on our next trip.

I wouldn't have thought that such an awesome restaurant would be on Fort Road. This area is being redeveloped and it is certainly a nice place now. Buffet Royale was quite convenient to go to before the hockey game at Rexall. The selection was unbelievable! The seafood was top notch, especially since it was all you can eat! My whole family loved this restaurant. The staff were friendly and it was a cozy place to eat.

So for all of you who are reading this, hey are doing a free limo ride if you fill this out, and your review is good.... But let me tell you the truth, because if I wanted to go in a limo I would book one myself.
First with the service, cause we all know that's what we want..service service service.... That's not what I got.. my server was so moody, and had a hard time keeping up, the manager Kelly had to do it for her. I compained to her about the server and she just said oh well not much I can do... Then after she goes and sits with one of the cooks, as they both chat and text on there phones and laugh, and here I am wanting service... I don't tip people that don't do anything..
Now onto the food.... It was ok. Not hot but not cold. A little dry, but what do we expect...... Money wise it was a fair price.... So there I'm done venting, but maybe you should think if going to a diffrent place to eat. Cause I won't go back,...

It’s extras like the chocolate fountain that move Buffet Royale – Carvery from a regular eatery to a food experience worth posting a review. The buffet tables offer a good assortment of ‘mamas’ home cooking; the borsch fed the soul.
Buffet Royale doesn’t forget the little children with their wide assortment of "usual” items. For the 4 yr. old granddaughter the hotdogs made this a family dining out experience the Burns’ won’t soon forget – she ate something at a restaurant! Then came that chocolate fountain…
We were served by our son’s beautiful girlfriend Tara. Although she is part of our family, she remained very professional and didn’t allow family antics to get in the way of her job.
We will be back!

we went to a show at northlands and were outside talking about going for supper at the royal fork when a lady who organized the event we were at told us about buffet world..so with our friends we drove over.. OMG.. we were in love..it just so happened the owner was there that night and what a hoot he was..as we got talking it turns out he comes through our town with his wife and stops at a restaraunt i worked at and wanted me to say to the owners..
The atmosphere s relaxing and the place is amazinglt clean...the bathrooms have an addaed touch of hominess...and the food to die for..if you go away hungry youve gone to the wrong resteraunt..lol...our friends and i recieved awesome service and the owner kept coming to check on us..we must of sat there for 3 hrs just visiting and giving time between helpings ...(i almost needed a nap)my recommendation bring friends and bring empty stomachs...oh just so you know they have a chocolate fondue...yeah you heard right lol...keep up the good work .

Three to four times a month I roll over to the Buffet Royale for lunch. Last Wednesday I brought a couple of my friends with me for my lunch visit. I always get a Royale welcome from hostess Kelly, and lunch is always reliably good. This day was no exception.

You can't fake fresh when it comes to the green salad. I never have to pick around yellowed, wilted or rotten greens. I always judge a restaurant by its' salad, and the Royale always has me returning for a crisp fresh green salad. The rest of the food is always just as good. There is a good selection and it includes desserts and fresh fruit. I especially like the soft ice cream. I think it has a coconut base and I enjoy the taste. I always enjoy my lunch at the Royale.

My friend Cecile, out of the blue, decided to fill out the customer satisfaction survey. I was curious what she had to say, and happily she rated everything as excellent including food quality and overall satisfaction. Her only suggestion was to improve the labeling of the food selections. Dave commented that the food was tasty. Our service was attentive and pleasant. Thank you Nathan.

The price of lunch is competitive and a good deal for what you get. I don't usually write reviews, but when I went to pay the bill, Kelly suggested that I write one. She knows I'm a fan. This is it.

Our stay at Buffet Royale North side was tremendously awesome, and of course, delicious! The food their had mouth watering looks and we were all tempted to eat it. I love the fact that the restaurant had a mix of Ukrainian, Western, Italian and Chinese foods! I also very much enjoyed the tacos, ice cream and the salad bar. You guys did not fail to serve us the flavorsome  lunch we had and the scrumptious desserts. The reason why we rated you 5 star was not only because of your "Heaven on a plate" meals, but also because of your lovely, caring, and KIND servers. And also because the room was very clean and spotless, not dirty! The reasonable price was worth it! We will most definitely recommend your restaurant and visit again!

I have frequent visits with my beautiful Grandson. One of his favorite places to eat is Buffet Royal. Ever since he was a little man he was in love with the chocolate fountain. He is 9 now and eats so much fruit because of the chocolate! I say what ever it takes for him to eat the fruit is great by me. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, we chat endlessly about his world and the video games he has played since our last visit, we never feel rushed to finish our meal or time together. I love to take him there for our visits. And of course the prawns are to die for....Great service! Great Food! Clean and kid friendly... Makes our time together wonderful....what more could you ask for?

First time I ever went to this chain of Buffets...Really impressed with the food and decor. I went to the West End, was nice and open, nice layout. Food was really good...not the typical buffet style. I hear the new one in Sherwood Park was really nice too...will check it out next. I liked it...can see why family's go.Good value for kids ...7.99.

I went to the Buffet Royale on Fort Road after reading the restaurant reviews in the Edmonton Sun. They were right. We were very pleasantly surprised to find such a nice restaurant close to the Rexall Place. The food selection was huge! Good quality food that tasted just like homemade! My kids won't stop bugging me about when they get to go there again.
