As promised, I'm reviewing the restaurant for a second time.

Went on New Years eve with my lovely woman-friend. We both ordered the steak sandwhich, and it was doubly good a second time. Her's was medium rare, my was rare.

Knives fall through the steak effortlessly. It's ridiculous.

We loved the food.

Unlike last time, we had great service, so that's rad.

They also had my favourite beer, Innis & Gunn-- ON TAP. That's insano. I've never encountered that before.

I felt the pricing was fine. I'd complain about it, but I'm currently unemployed, and that's really my only issue.

If anyone needs a 3d modeler / animator / filmographer, give me a shout!

My girlfriend ordered something, like, a steak sandwich, and it blew us out of the water. Never before had we a steak that literally melted in our mouths (she let me have a piece).

I don't remember what I had, seeing as how it's been a long while now since I was last there, however, I remember it being great.

We both had a house red.

The point is, for my last meal in 2011 on New Years Eve., we have decided to return for an encore meal. We were blown away by the food the first time, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy (we were on the "patio," but, I mean, we could still walk through the resto for the washroom).

However good the atmosphere and food might have been, we were mostly forgotten about by the waiting staff. I'm sure it'll be better tomorrow though....

Good value - not high-end cuisine. But the atmosphere is warm, friendly and ... "european"!! Perfect location. Chef's specials are usually great - and the food fresh.
A perfect "hang with the friends' place!

A great European feel! Location is good. The food is varied, not high-end, but good value for money. Extensive beer and wine list. Can be understaffed on busy weekends.
