My family decided to treat me to a night where I did not have to cook. I was worried that to find a restaurant where we could all find our favorite food was not going to happen, but was I wrong. We arrived at the Buffet Royal Carvery on Gateway Blvd. I had been there years before, but they have renovated and it is beautiful, the food was hot and fresh, and my large family was able to find all of our favorites! We will definately be back again!

I love the Lingnan. I have been visiting it since I was a kid. The recent menu change gives it a bit more "authentic" flavour, but I still love my favourites - beef aristocratic chow mein, and one of the BEST Szechuan beefs in town - crunchy, not too spicy, and, my main criterion, not greasy. All the waiters are friendly and remember you.

Terrible experience. Waited 2 hours for food, although they had a sign indicating may take that long but 2 hours waiting time is just ridiculous. In terms of food quality, I was not impressed at all. All of the dishes I've tried compared to the ones in China town for half its price. Descent atmosphere and not bad of service.

I know Lingnan from the lunch place they own in Scotia place. It is called chicken for lunch. It is amazing. At night they serve dinner at Lingnan. It has been in edmonton for years and now they are featured in Food Tv in Family restaurant. Amy the owner is amazing. She can remember everyone's name and usually she will come around and see what you ordered and suggest something else if she thinks you will not like it. The portions are big, and the food is just amazing. Me and my wife are addicted to both Chicken for Lunch and Lingnan.
